Subsidized And Reimbursable Software Development Workshops by Apium Academy
Apium Academy organizes public courses and private workshops and the good thing is that both formats can be reimbursable.
Apium Academy is registered in Fundae and collaborates with a company called EBO Gestión, which manages the “training credits” of our clients so that our workshops and courses can be offered at little or no cost. This depends on the number of “credits” available, which can always be checked on the EBO Gestion website.
You choose whether to plan the training yourself or delegate it to a third party who aids in its programming. Companies can also make it simpler for their employees to train while on the job in order to earn a title or official accreditation.
Fundae
Fundae stands for Foundation for Employment Training. It is a collaborating and technical support entity of the Public State Employment Service, in the field of professional training for employment.
Fundae’s mission is to help companies and workers improve the skills that allow them to face changes in the labor market and productive sectors through quality training.
Fundae manages the funds allocated to the training program by the companies that can be made effective through bonuses in their Social Security contributions. Fundae promotes access, through subsidies, to free and quality training for all workers (active and unemployed).
EBO Gestion
EBO Gestion is an initiative created to improve the professional training and personal development of workers, achieve greater promotion and social integration of workers as well as and improvement in the competitiveness of companies, through which companies will minimize the training costs they offer.
The mechanism is simple. All companies have credit for the training of their workers, the result of the contributions made by the company and workers to Social Security, due to the Vocational Training contingency.
Each company, whatever its size, activity, or location, can choose what training it wants to do. The only requirement is that this training has a direct relationship with the company’s activity.
The bonus that corresponds to the company once the training is completed (NEVER BEFORE), will be subtracted from the payments that it makes to Social Security through the amount it pays monthly. To be entitled to the bonus, the student must have covered at least 75% of attendance at the training. It´s important to keep in mind that companies must be up-to-date with the administration to be able to access the bonuses.
All those who contribute to Social Security for the contingency of professional training can take advantage of it, including:
- Employees
- Non-occupation
- Those who become unemployed when they are in training periods
- Workers covered by employment regulation in their periods of suspension of employment by authorized file
Those who do NOT contribute to Social Security for the contingency of professional training can not benefit from this opportunity:
- Self-employed
- Personnel at the service of public administrations
What is the training credit for each company?
Each company has an annual credit to finance the training actions, based on the amount entered as a common contingency for professional training during the previous year and the average number of workers. There is a minimum credit for companies that is 420 euros per year for training.
EBO Gestión simplifies the processes, making the complicated simple, offering a transparent service, advising and guiding you in everything you need regarding subsidized training.
The process of getting subsidized and reimbursable software development workshops
- Ebo Gestión checks the client’s available training credit.
2. The amount to be subsidized is indicated by Ebo Gestión to the client at the moment in which Ebo Gestión knows the data of the course and credit of the company. For this, the client has to fill in the pdf file that Apium Academy will share with the client.
3. We tell Ebo Gestión when the training begins and the characteristics of the course.
4. We indicate to Ebo Gestión the workers who will attend the training.
5. Ebo Gestión sends the invoice to the client and they have to pay it to Ebo Gestión before the starting date of the course.
6. During the training, the workers have to sign attendance sheets.
7. When the course ends, the client sends all the documentation via email to Ebo Gestión.
8. Ebo Gestión sends the client the information so that the corresponding amount can be deducted from social security.
The cost to be subsidized will be determined based on various factors, such as available credit, modality, number of hours, etc. For this, Ebo needs the course contract to verify some of the data and to be able to give a specific figure.
