Save these dates: December 10th & 11th. Here at Apium Academy we’ve decided to end the year with a bang, and that’s why we’re hosting Viktor Farcic‘s Jenkins X & Continuous Delivery Workshop. For those of you who don’t know him, Viktor Farcic is a Developer Advocate at CloudBees, a member of the Google Developer Experts and Docker Captains groups, a published author and a frequent speaker at community gatherings and conferences. He published The DevOps Toolkit Series and Test-Driven Java Development. His random thoughts and tutorials can be found in his blog TechnologyConversations.com.
Jenkins X, an open source project introduced to the community by CloudBees, enables the rapid creation, delivery and orchestration of cloud-native applications based on continuous delivery best practices and the proven Kubernetes platform. Jenkins X is Jenkins and additional best of breed tools and software for Kubernetes. It provides an interactive command-line interface to instantiate applications, repositories, environments, and pipelines and orchestrate continuous integration and continuous delivery.
After finishing the workshop, the student will receive a Completion Certificate.
The workshop will be entirely in English.
Continuous Delivery Workshop Timetable:

There will be an hour break for lunch, and shorter periodic breaks approximately once an hour.

You will explore how to create a fully operational continuous delivery pipeline using containers, Kubernetes, Jenkins X, and quite a few other tools.
