DDD for Messaging Architectures remote workshop with Mathias Verraes and Thomas Coopman
DDD for Messaging Architectures remote workshop with Mathias Verraes and Thomas Coopman
We are proud to share with you that we collaborate with DDD Europe and help spread awareness about such useful workshops as DDD for Messaging Architectures workshop with Mathias Verraes and Thomas Coopman. We believe that upcoming 6 x 4 hours remote workshop will help you improve your toolkit for reasoning about message architectures.
About Mathias Verraes and Thomas Coopman
Probably know know Mathias Verraes as a curator of DDD Europe, but also Mathias runs a boutique consultancy that advises organisations on designing and modelling software for complex environments, including architecture, analysis, testing, and refactoring “unmaintainable” systems. He has worked with clients in Finance, Government, Supply Chain, Mobility, Energy, E-Commerce, and more. Also, he teaches Domain-Driven Design courses.
As for Thomas Coopman, he is a polyglot and loves to learn new languages. His latest language studies have taken him to Elixir, Elm and OCaml and he has a special affinity for functional programming languages. Thomas is an independent software engineer and consultant focused on the full stack: frontend, backend and mostly people, practices and processes. Thomas is also currently active in DDD Belgium and the Belgian Software Crafters community.
About DDD for Messaging Architectures remote workshop with Mathias Verraes and Thomas Coopman
First of all, save the date! June 14-22, 2021! And important note: there is always a possibility to book private training!
The software industry continues to move towards message-oriented architectures. This requires new thinking about system design, domain modelling and scalable architectures. So, what will you learn in this remote workshop with Mathias Verraes and Thomas Coopman:
1.Modelling technique that helps you map a complex business domain
2. Modelling style that moves away from traditional structural models and DREs in favour of promoting events, processes, behaviours and dependencies between first-class business logic.
3. CQRS – an architectural model for better decoupling between different responsibilities.
4. Event sourcing, a persistence strategy.
5. Development of message architectures according to the evolution of the business.
6. Strategic design, mapping bounded contexts and reasoning about relationships between services.
7. Distillation of analysis patterns, domain modelling patterns and decoupling patterns in distributed systems.
There are a lot of positive reviews about this workshop, but let us share with you the one from Spain:
I spent three days immersed in the Domain–Driven Design world with Mathias. It was a great experience where I learned a lot about DDD. Mathias created an environment where we could interact all together experimenting with DDD. Furthermore Mathias adapted the workshop content dynamically to our needs and our concerns. It is a recommended experience!
